HOW DOES IT WORK?

The procedure involves using an injectable medication called Botulinum Toxin to prevent the underlying muscles from contracting, reducing the ability of the muscles to move - which results in a reduction in the overlying wrinkling of the skin.

The treatment works well on FOREHEAD LINES, FROWN LINES and CROWS FEET

We generally aim to create a natural looking reduction in these lines and wrinkles, for a softer and brighter appearance. But we can tailor your dose to provide a more frozen result if desired

Following treatment we have a 2 week follow up to ensure that you are happy with the results and to perform any needed dose adjustment.

WHAT HAPPENS AT YOUR APPOINTMENT?

Your appointment will begin with a consultation with Dr Leigh-Anne who will ensure that the treatment is suitable for your needs. Providing you wish to go ahead, we will take pre-treatment photographs to assess how you respond to the injections and dose.

Next, Dr Leigh-Anne will use a very fine needle to the treatment area in which to inject the product

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

After your treament we advise you ideally not to apply make up until the next day, and to avoid touching or rubbing the injection sites for 24 hours.

Avoid heavy exercise and alcohol for 24 hours

Avoid any steam rooms or saunas for 24 hours
